Position: Event Intern
Location: Edinburgh, UK
Duration: 1 May to 31 May
Reports to: Event Manager
About Us:
FLY is a dynamic dance music festival offering unforgettable experiences for music fans across Scotland. As an Event Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning, coordination, marketing and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with event logistics, setup, and breakdown.
- Coordinate with vendors and performers, ensuring timely arrivals and setups.
- Support guest services and manage attendee flow during the festival.
- Help with event schedules, staffing, and volunteer coordination.
- Assist with social media, promotions, and festival branding.
- Aid in post-event breakdown and evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driving licence and reliable access to a car.
- Pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Event Management, Music Business, or related field.
- Passion for music festivals and live events.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for evenings and weekends.
- Previous event experience is a plus, but not required.
