FLY Fundamentals

FLY finds any form of discriminatory behaviour totally abhorrent. It has no place at our festival, clubs or communities.
On the Saturday of our last Open Air show, our dancers were subjected to transphobic and homophobic abuse by some hateful audience members. This behaviour shames FLY, our staff, our DJs and our true festival fans.
This incident is far removed from our ethos - dance music should create an environment where EVERYONE is accepted. We are committed to using our resources & our voice to ensure that we are building preventative measures so instances like these do not happen again.
As such, we have taken some time to build a new FLY Fundamentals & Wellbeing strategy which we will be implementing across all of our shows, alongside introducing a dedicated staffing provision to ensure that any behaviour that does not align with our FLY Fundamentals is dealt with fairly & swiftly.
FLY FUNDAMENTALS & WELLBEING STRATEGY
A good team builds a great party, and that includes participation from everyone - you, us, and all those involved in the making of FLY. Come with a good attitude and an open mind. FLY is a place for celebrating the dance music community, and we want everyone to have a great time - regardless of gender & gender expression, race, religion & beliefs, ability or physical appearance.
The main goal for FLY is to create a sanctuary for escapism, soundtracked by the best acts in electronic music. In order for everyone to indulge in this, we all must follow the FLY Fundamentals. We cannot control how others act, but we can control how we act - FLY will continue to demonstrate a zero-tolerance attitude towards abuse or harassment of any kind.
