For the final instalment of our IWD series spanning the month of March, we have invited SWATT TEAM. Relatively new behind the CDJ's, they're no strangers to the Edinburgh scene. Since their debut in Jan, they've secured some huge festival and club bookings for this summer, including a headline slot at FLY Club this Friday - we look forward to seeing the duo grow in 2023. The two have taken the series head on with a fast paced blend of ghetto, garage, techno and trance. We took the chance to catch up with the girls so you can get to know them....
Tell us a bit about yourselves?

How did you get into DJ’ing?
We saw our mates doing it and thought - if they can do it, so can we.
Nah last year we started joking about becoming a DJ duo so much that we started to believe it ourselves.
What’s in the pipeline for you right now?
FAR too much. Get the passports out...
Nah fr - some really fun festival and club dates coming up and we cannot WAIT!
What’s been the best moment in your career so far?
Getting to support and meet HorsegiirL was pretty doss. One of our idols.
Which women do you look up to the most?
Paris Hilton, Rowan Newlands, Ekin-Su from Love Island and Nana Bea.

Favorite club?
Cab Vol holds a special place in our hearts but Sneaky Pete’s takes the biscuit.
Biggest inspo?
Lindsay Lohan and Crazy Frog.
Festival or club?
Club for sure. Sally didn’t brush her hair once at Otherlands.
